Cocamide Diethanolamine (CDEA) is made by the reaction of Coconut Oil or Palm-kernel oil with Diethanolamine (DEA). CDEA is used as a foaming agent in products like shampoos and hand soaps and in cosmetics as an emulsifying agent. CDEA can enchance the cleaning efficiency and viscosity of liquid detergent products.
